Attendance

Attendance Objective Statement

Every student has the right to educational opportunities that will enable them to develop his or her fullest potential. Each year an increased number of students accumulates an excessive number of absences from school. In some cases, verified illness is the cause. In other cases, the absences are a direct result of disinterest or lack of concern for an education. A high rate of absenteeism has a negative impact on the student, the school, the district, and the community. By addressing the issues early on, we can achieve a positive effect that will surely have an impact on the student’s future success.
